Description |
Two sets of linked trails, extending into the heart of the Eyre Mountains. Probably the most interesting route is to head north up to Cromel Branch Hut and the two tributaries of the Cromel River beyond. As a longer alternative to this route, you can also head east from the road end and take in Cromel Base Hut on the way. The other option is to branch west about 1 km north of the road end and climb onto the ridgeline above the Acton Valley, from where the track heads north before dropping down to Islands Hut beside the Windley River. |
