From Edendale, follow SH1 (Woodland Highway) west for ca. 2,5 km then turn south down Scenic Reserve Road. Access is on left after ca.1 km. |
Description |
The walk offers two options - a short (ca 15 minute) loop and a longer 30 minute loop. Both take you through this delightful patch of remnant podacarp forest that has somehow survived the axe, spade and bulldozer over the last hundred or so years. |
