In Dunsdale Reserve: on SH96 ca. 1 km east of Browns, turn left onto Anderson Road and continue straight onto Brookdale Road; turn left onto Butlers Creek Road and follow forestry signs to Dunsdale Reserve. |
Description |
Starting at the Dunsdale Scenic Reserve, this track runs alongside the Dunsdale River for some 3 km through the beautiful remnant native woodland of the Hokonui Forest. As well as the magnificent podocarps, there's a small waterfall to look out for, as well as an abundance of native birds. |
