From SH97, turn north onto Irthing Road ca. 2 km west of junction with SH6. Turn right onto Mulholland Road; walks starts from picnic area at road end. DoC permit required; contact Invercargill DoC office. |
Description |
From the picnic area, it's a relatively easy walk through mountain beech forest up the Irthing Stream to Mansion Hut. One stream crossing required about two-thirds of the way. |
