From SH94 turn off on Mavora Lakes Road. Northwards, ca 25 km east of Te Anau. Follow unsealed road for ca. 36 km to car park (on left). |
Description |
An extensive network of day and multi-day walks in stunning mountain landscapes. The track from South Mavora Lake southwards along the Mararoa River, and the track to Kiwi Burn Hut are both relatively easy. Most of the other walks involve difficult sections and require good fitness and competent tramping skills. |
