Description |
This long cyclable, horse-ridable and drivable beach runs from Sandy Head at the mouth of the Oreti River in the south to Riverton/Aperima in the north. Backed by impressive dunes and old saltmarsh and grassed-over beach ridges, it offers an almost endless array of linear or loop walks, or areas just to let the dogs run loose in without worrying about the need actually to go anywhere. |
