Access via a series of informal tracks through the dunes, off Moturata Road, just south of the campsite. |
Description |
Taieri beach, and the dunes that run along its back, make a wonderful place to let the dogs run free. At low tide you can venture out to Taieri Island (Moturata) - though take care because the tides can change quickly. There's also history here to explore, some of it dating back to dearly Maori settlement, and some of it recent and sad. |
