Take Cainard Road off SH6 ca. 6 km south of Kingston and continue to end of formed road. From there, 4WD tracks head north up Robert Creek or west up the Mataura River into the park. DoC permit required; contact Invercargill DoC office. |
Description |
From ca 2 km before the Park boundary, the track up the Mataura River provides walking access along an unmarked route to the historic Beech Hut. |
