A pair of tracks, starting at the road end. The main track follows the river via Shamrock Hiut and Hagens Hut, to to Top Hut, with several crossings on the way. At about 17 km one-way, the complete trip is likely to require an overnight stay, so note: dogs aren't allowed in the huts. For a shorter, Canyon Creek, which flows down from the west, provides a spectacular side-trip up to the bushline and beyond, and can comfortably be completed in a day.
