McLean Falls

This is a beautiful walk, and one not to be missed. From the moment you leave the small car-park by the entrance, you enter a magical world of dappling light, old and gnarly trees, twisted lianas, ferns and moss. The path winds between them as if lost.

None nearby, but Niagara Falls Cafe on Niagara-Waiwaka Road, and Fortrose cafe at junction with Tokanui-Gorge Road both worth the trip.
