Description |
An interesting walk along an old tramway, to the disused Coalbrookdale Mine. Lots of old mineworks to see, including a short walk-through tunnel, and some fascinating information about the works. Can be done as a loop walk - up one side of the stream and down the other - if wanted, but the path in places is rough and the full loop may not be open. On its website, DoC says that this track is 'No Dogs', but there are no obvious reasons for that, no signage to suggest it on the ground, and the de facto status is clearly that it is dog friendly (you'll meet plenty of dogs on your walk). So use your own judgement. |
