Access
Take Mapua Drive off SH60, and turn left almost immediately into small unnamed gravel road (opposite the sculpture). Parking beside the reserve. Alternatively, park on Chayter Road, ca. 250 metres from junction with Seaton Valley Road, where footpath emerges (70 metres beyond entrance to gravel track).
Description
For a short loop walk through regenerating wetlands, follow the trails within the Flats; or extend the walk by continuing up the Chayter Road (from where it's only a short hop to Stagecoach Road) or Dawson Road walkways.
