Description |
Masterton isn't an especially pretty town, and whatever delights it has it tends to hide, and when you do discover a bit of greenery there's a good chance it will be littered with beer cans or the like. But the river, Queen Elizabeth Park and Henley Lake make a worthwhile and quite lengthy walk - though last time I was there (2024), the lake had been declared toxic and closed to the public! However, things change, sometimes councils take action, so give it a try; you might be pleasantly surprised. |
