Description |
A steady climb on a track beside Lankey's Creek leads to the site of the old Bolitho Brothers gold mine and stamper battery. From there, the track levels out and follows an old tram track along a bench before descending down about 300 steps into Murray Creek, passing the Energetic Mine on the way. You can either turn around at the slope above Murray Creek and come back the way you went, or join the Murray Creek track down to Black's Point. If you want to complete the circuit, though, it's then a 2 km slog along SH7 on a road with no footpath. |
