From Glenorchy, head north on Glenorchy-Paradise Road for ca 7 km and cross over Rees River; fork left onto Priory Road within 200 metres. Walk starts before next bridge, in ca. 300 metres.
A sometimes boggy, but generally easy and flat walk though a wetland area beside the Rees River. The birdlife is abundant, and there are good views of the mountains further up the Rees Valley, so it's well worth the risk of wet feet.
